• Please note this is a modular course and elements MUST be successfully completed BEFORE continuation with the course, these elements can be failed which will result in the termination of the course event at that time. No monies will be refunded or credited for the course or part thereof due to failing to achieve the required pre requisite competence(s) to allow overall competence to be awarded
• All assessments must have been logged with NCCA prior to attendance on recertification
• A Personal Rule Book must be brought to the event by each delegate
• Must have sufficient command of English language, and of the English language as detailed in Network Rail Company Specification NR/S/CTM/021 (Competence & Training in Track Safety).
• Must be a minimum age of 18 • Must bring and hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with DCCR to complete the CRP module and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and Training in Track Safety
• Meet the medical requirements of NR standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements.
• Bring with you COSS Work Experience Logbook showing minimum of 4 Entries in the COSS Work Experience Logbook endorsed by the Line Manager or Supervisor & 2 management reviews.
• A valid PTS certificate and COSS certificate must be presented to the trainer at the start of each event
• Requirements to minimum medical level 4 and Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol), which must be less than 12 months old if you are changing sponsor.
• Relevant Network Rail Rule Book Modules hand books 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10,13 optional modules AC/DC (if doing OLP/CRP). We recommend that you revise these modules before attending the course.
• Please advise of any special needs/ Learning difficulties i.e. Dyslexia
• The course will last 3 days. Trainer led classroom and practical sessions.
